The greatest composers have penetrated that distant realm and brought back to us glimpses of what they saw. I hope to illustrate how musical geniuses such as Beethoven achieve this. Emerson says it best: “Music takes us out of the actual and whispers to us dim secrets that startle our wonder as to who we are, and for what, whence and whereto.”

Recent and Up Close

On Feb 12 Margaret Lovsey will be 90 years old. She is living at Beckley Farm and before that was an active and inspiring member of Capitol.

One of the children at First Victoria asked Jane Bramadat why we don’t have a Holy Book. She answered we do but it is a loose leaf and we are still adding to it.

A recent short article in the local paper by Bruce Partridge talks about our health care in an interesting way.
