It is our tradition to take a break from regular Sunday services in the summer months. We will resume on Sept 7th with a service honoring Salt Spring’s Pride Weekend. A water communion will take place, so don’t forget to collect a little water from your travels for when we reconnect in September.

VIUC Summer Camp

This camp offers something for everyone. Music, outdoor worship service, swimming, canoeing, sailing and the opportunity to connect with our Unitarian neighbours.
Lunch In The Park
Since it is so nice in the park these summer days we have decided to do Lunch in the Park Monday, July 21. We thought that a we might serve a traditional
summer luncheon: ie, cold cuts, potato salad, pasta salad, green salad, veggies, rolls with butter, and shortcake or fruit pies for dessert.
We would appreciate as much help as we can get for this luncheon, so if you wish to contribute any part of this menu or just show up to visit please call Anne Marshall (250) 537 9650.
Summer Picnic
Let’s gather as many of us as we can to commune for fun mid summer around the lake. Paddle the canoes or swim if you feel inclined. For the landlubbers Beth will bring her bocci ball. Enjoy a gentle game of croquet or just sit and visit with a glass of wine. Enjoy roasted veggies, corn on the cob, salads, barbecued salmon, and fabulous desserts– whatever our creative fellowship decides to bring!
