Are you considering UU Ministry or are you already on a career path toward UU Ministry?

Then you should think about attending

the RSCC Fall Retreat.

What's the Fall Retreat?

It's a two-day weekend retreat that gives Canadians preparing for UU Ministry and those seriously contemplating it as a career path a chance to come together and explore the practical and personal issues of a life in Ministry.

Topics addressed include the realities of Ministry, the credentialing and supervisory process, the meaning and expectations of ministerial collegiality, financial realities and planning for internships and field experience.

The Retreat is sponsored by the Regional Subcommittee on Candidacy in Canada, a body created by the Ministerial Fellowship Committee in 1999 to guide those aspiring to Unitarian Universalist ministry through a discernment process, and to evaluate their potential for the ministry.

Where and when is the Retreat?

The RSCC Fall Retreat 2004 will be held at the Unitarian Congregation of

Vancouver, B.C. from Nov. 12 – 14 in Vancouver, B.C.

Is there a cost ?

There is a $75 charge for first time participants, who are also expected to pay for their own transportation to the site. Once there, meals and accommodation by billet is provided.

What shall I bring?

Bring paper and pencil for notes and casual, comfortable clothes. More importantly, bring a willingness to share your thoughts and questions about Ministry.

How do I sign up?
