Let me tell you a bit about my work as a Lay Chaplain. My goal is for you to have exactly the ceremony you would like. We will work together with you to create the perfect service, be it a wedding, celebration of life, house blessing or baby naming.
For weddings and memorials, my officiating fee is $400-500, of which $100 goes to my congregation. (For other ceremonies the cost is on a sliding scale depending on your requirements.)
For weddings the fee includes an initial meeting, emailing back and forth to create your ceremony, a meeting of the three of us the week before the wedding, the rehearsal and the ceremony. I can officiate anywhere you would like to be married. (Outside of Victoria area and Salt Spring Island travel is $0.50 per kilometer.)
